Which one will you choose to build your network?

New School Network Marketing

It's all about online network marketing. Creating valuable content and publishing it online, offering solutions to problems and challenges in your market of expertise. People are out there looking for solutions to their problems. Marketing your information correctly and consistantly, will give you a huge presense on the internet and you will position you as a solutions provider. This way, instead of you going into the highways and byways prospecting complete strangers, you will attract them to what you have to offer. Read more here. . . . . .

Old School Network Marketing

Build a list of at least 100 names of everyone you know, or ever came into contact with. The butcher, the baker, the doctor, the teachers, the banker, the dentist, the vet, the bank teller, work colleagues, someone you know is over weight, someone you know is bald, someone you know who plays sport and on and on and on, you get the picture. Don't be selective about who you write down, everyone is a possible prospect, let them decide for themselves...

When you have gone through the entire list of names, go out every day and talk to at least 3 different people, finding out what their needs and wants are, then invite them to take a look at your business opportunity.

Seeing that talking to complete strangers is not as easy as it sounds, start buying leads that you can contact and offer your business opportunity to.

Now start the sifting process.

1st call to find out if they would be interested in taking a look at how they could supplement their income on a part time basis.

Answer yes: Set up an appointment to get together to show them the basics of the business opportunity and see if it suits them or not.

Answer no: Would they then like to see, how your product could benefit them and could they give you referrals of people they know who would possibly be interested in a business opportunity.

At appointment, briefly show basics of business opportunity and go through some qualifying questions to see if they are suited to this or not and if they are interested in pursuing it any further.

Answer yes: Invite them to a business presentation where they will hear the opportunity explained in more detail.

Answer no: Invite them to take a look at how your product can benefit them and once again ask for referrals.

At business presentation: Get your prospect to decide there and then whether your opportunity is for them or not.

Answer yes: Get them to sign up, set up a 3 hour meeting to go over the basics and plug them into the same routine as you are doing.

Answer no: Share your product with them and how they can benefit from it. Make an appointment to spend more time with them, so you can go into more detail about your products.

Manuel Versus Automatic

I heard this analogy of "old" school and "new" school marketing the other day and I think it explains it perfectly

We have farmer Joe, who has a field full of crops. He has 2 buckets which he takes down to the creek every day, fills them up and carries them back to his fields to water them. (old school)

Then there's farmer John who takes the time to build and install pipes under ground to carry water from the creek to his fields. (new school)

Farmer John doesn't appear to be doing any work because you can't see him going backward and forwards with his buckets. But once he has effectively installed his pipes, his results will be far greater.

With effective proven training you too can get far greater results.
